Though the couple may be taking their security extra seriously nowadays given the hype around their romance, that didn’t stop them from enjoying a cute dinner date this week, though they had to be swift about sneaking out of the restaurant to avoid a crowd.

In candid snapshots captured by Page Six, the duo discreetly slipped into the backseat of an SUV after exiting Bird Street Club in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 9. Despite efforts by a security guard to shield them from the paparazzi's flashing cameras, Travis' profile was glimpsed in the background. A dark curtain obscured the window beside Taylor, though her presence was faintly discernible behind the driver's seat.

Taylor and Travis have been enjoying their time on the West Coast during her hiatus from the Eras tour. Following a brief retreat to the Bahamas together in March, they've been spotted together in California on multiple occasions lately. The tour is set to recommence on May 9 in Paris, France, while the release of Taylor's upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, is eagerly anticipated on April 19.

Travis will reportedly join Taylor during the European leg of her world tour. He’s already been with her at multiple stops this year, including in Singapore and Australia. Every outing, paparazzi are eager to snap photos of the couple, who continue to face pregnancy and engagement rumors.

Travis Kelce’s Family Has Expressed Concerns For His Safety

In February, Travis’s brother Jason Kelce admitted that he sold his Kansas mansion months into dating Swift when the address became a security concern. He went on to sink $6 million into a property that apparently has enhanced security features.

“Travis knows way more than I do, he had to completely move out of his house,” Jason said while appearing on The Big Podcast With Shaq. “People were just staying by his house.”

However, Travis’ security apparently remains a threat, even at his new address. “And the first day he moved into the new house … [in] a gated community, somebody knocks on the back window of the house,” Jason went on to reveal.

This wasn’t the first time Jason expressed concerns for Travis and Taylor’s safety in the midst of all the attention around their romance. He echoed similar sentiments last October, admitting the new level of fame has been weird for their whole family.

"It's certainly been weird, the level that it is now," Jason said at the time. "On one hand, I'm happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he's excited about, that he is genuine about. But there's another end of it where it's like, ‘Man, this is a lot.'"

"So, on one hand, really, really happy for my brother and where he's at in his current situation with Taylor," he continued. "But on the other hand, there's some alarms sometimes with how over-in-pursuit people can be."

Despite the publicity, Taylor and Travis’ recent date night spotting is a sign they’re not going to let the attention stop them from enjoying their lives, especially each other’s company.
